Jason "Gonzo" Gonzales
Mr. Gonzales is founding Principal of Workforce Housing Solutions Inc. Prior to forming Workforce Housing Solutions. Mr. Gonzales was a residential development partner for a notable Chicago developer where he worked on such notable deals as the $385 million acquisition and redevelopment of the John Hancock Center in Chicago. Prior to this, Mr. Gonzales was the Director of Acquisitions in Chicago for NOVO Development Corp, a Washington DC-based acquirer and developer of multifamily apartment buildings. He has extensive experience in property acquisitions and development, financial underwriting, debt and equity syndications, project management and consulting, and currently consults to private equity firms on their investment allocations to multifamily and Workforce Housing. A successful leader, entrepreneur and real estate investor, in 2003 Mr. Gonzales was awarded the Acci?n Chicago Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Mr. Gonzales earned a BA in Economics cum laude from Duke University where he was a Dannenburg Scholar and a member of the crew team. He also attended the Stan Ross Institute Program in Real Estate Finance and Development at the University of Southern California. He is involved in several charitable and religious organizations including, the Chicago Fellowship, Big-Brothers/Big Sisters, Compassion International, and the Wilberforce Forum where he is a 2006 Centurion. He is a member of the Moody Church in Chicago, where he is currently a deacon-elect. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and Real Estate Investment Association. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, golf and world travel. Matthew Obradovic
Mr. Obradovic is Principal and CFO of Workforce Housing Solutions and has over 10 years of experience in taxation, accounting, and financial planning. He is responsible for the financial analysis and due diligence of new acquisitions development projects, and the administration of all active projects. In addition to his day to day responsibilities, Mr. Obradovic is an active real estate salesperson and markets net-leased real estate investments as well as internally developed properties on a tax advantaged basis. Prior to joining Workforce Housing Solutions, Mr. Obradovic was Vice President and Controller at Beitler Real Estate Corp,where he was in charge of financial structuring for the firm's development transactions. Prior to this, he practiced as a tax accountant and financial planner. Prior to this, he was CFO of All Properties, Inc a multifamily real estate acquisition and management company in Chicago. Prior to his position at All Properties, he was a controller at the Tribune Companies. Matt is a success He is involved in several charitable organizations. Matt earned a BS in Finance and Accounting from the University of Illinois-Champaign and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public accountants, and the Illinois CPA Society and is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Salesperson. Ira Becker
Mr. Becker is Director of Acquisitions and Development Prior to joining GONZO, Mr. Becker was a Consultant to Jamison Realty Group, Inc, a residential real estate brokerage and development firm in Chicago. He possesses over 23 years of real estate development and acquisition experience including careers as a Senior Project Manager at Equity Residential, where he was in charge of development and condominium conversions for the South Florida region. Prior to this, he was President of Bexter Realty Inc, a boutique real estate investment brokerage and management company in Chicago. Prior to this, he was a Senior Sales Manager for Crescent Heights of America, where he was responsible for over $25,000,000 in sales volume. Ira earned a BA from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Lake Forest College. He is a licensed real estate broker in both Illinois and Florida. He is also a member of Chicago Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. |
